Today for lunch my coworker who lives local in Houston took me here for the first time. I ordered the Birria Quesotacos and they were the bomb.com. The service was fast and the staff was very polite. I will definitely be back next time in Houston for business again.

I like going for their taco Tuesday special! Agua fresca are refreshing! I didn't have to wait that long too, sat down and within a few minutes, they came with my drink followed with my food.

If you like greasy a f tacos come here they are so good , the consistency of the cheese and meat on my Gordita was 10/10 it's what I except when I treat myself. There's always a line but the cashiers always knocks it out quick. The kind old ladies that bring you the food are excellent as well and are always willing to help if your order comes out wrong . Beer is always cold and the music is always on point . Asta la próxima

$1 Margarita Mondays $1 Taco Tuesdays $2 Beers on Thursdays Need I say more? No, but per Yelp Elite status, I probably should. Despite its sinfully attractive weekly specials, Tacos El Bigotes makes some really mean authentic tacos. No this isn't your family Tex-Mex joint but popular lunch spot that will scratch your taco itch. Some of my favorites are the $1 Taco Tuesday Trumpo and the Birria Taco + Ramen. I needa try their quesadillas next time since its $3. THREE dollars! Come early because this place gets packed fast! Their hot sauce is delicious but I've had my share of bad salsa from here since they're passed around from table to table. I hear this place is also kickin at night time since its right next to a popular night club.

Per the recommendation of a trusted source, I wanted to try Tacos El Bigotes. I am very happy I did! I arrived between 1:30 - 2 pm. and still had to wait in line! A very good sign good food was about to be had. I ordered the Birria Tacos and a Barbacoa half quesadilla, then found a table and waited with anticiaption for my food. Both were very good. I especially enjoyed the birria tacos with the au-jus for dipping as I am a dunker by nature. Very busy eatery with a very casual environment. With the crowd, it does get a bit noisy. The food was spot on, and the prices were more than fair. I will definitely be passing on the recommendation for Tacos El Bigotes.

Clean and fast service, great specials and awesome music, plus the best food and drinks. The birria cheese tacos are hands down the best I've had in town. The limonada agua Fresca was perfect. Friendly staff, cute place, easy parking. Will definitely be back!

Very good taco joint on the SW side. Order at the counter and grab a seat and the food is brought to your table. Very nice staff but some speak limited English. Some of the furniture could be repaired, but it doesn't affect the food. Everything I had was very flavorful and fresh. The birria gravy was really good and so is the red and green sauces. It gets crowded and loud so be prepared, but I'd definitely be back.

Wow, absolutely delectable! The flavors were bursting with delight. The ramen noodles were exceptionally tasty, and everything else was equally fantastic. The service was amazing too! The restaurant was bustling, with cozy booths and wooden tables, although the space was quite compact. Loved it all !! Thanks Local eats the recommendation!!

We were not impressed with our take away order years ago. We went back because our friends invited us to this taco shack for a sit down lunch. This time around, we were impressed. Mrs and I shared a tripa (intestine) sopa, trompo torta, and trompo corn taco, and a lengua corn taco. Our first timer friends liked the food so much, they went back for a second round. All the proteins were seasoned and cooked well. Mrs and I really enjoyed our food and planned to take our daughters there. I guess eating fresh made a big difference. The prices were inexpensive. Employees were friendly and efficient. Ladies were constantly clearing our dirty dishes. Spanish was the spoken language in this shack. Every employee spoke to us in Spanish, which was great! Mrs and I got to practice our poor Spanish. There were plenty of parking spaces.
